Famous Mexican supercar collector @don_huayra has been on a buying spree lately. After purchasing the one-off Bugatti Chiron Vivere by Mansory, he just added a new Pagani to his collection. You won’t see it roaming the streets of Mexico City, though, as it’s the track-only Huayra R Evo.
Central America’s latest Pagani Huayra R Evo features a Petronas livery inspired by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 team. It is finished in silver and exposed carbon fiber with bright teal blue pintripes.
Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this livery on a Pagani. The Huayra L’Ultimo also has the same F1-inspired exterior. It was commissioned by Brett David of Prestige Imports, Miami.
However, while the L’Ultimo is road legal, the Huayra R Evo can only be driven on the racetrack. It is powered by the V12-R engine that delivers 900 hp @ 8750 rpm and 568 lb-ft of torque @ 5800-8200 rpm with a redline at 9200 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox via a racing clutch.

The Huayra R Evo, unlike the standard Huayra R has an extended tail section which has been stretched by 190 mm. It also comes with an upgraded aero package that is said to deliver 45% more downforce and improves aero efficiency by 21%.
