Lexus has discontinued two more petrol cars in Australia, with only three purely petrol-powered models set to remain in its local range from 2027.
The brand has confirmed that the RX350 and flagship LS500 will be discontinued, joining the NX350, which is also being phased out globally as part of its upcoming facelift.
That will leave the sporty LBX Morizo RR and the larger GX550 and LX600 as Lexus Australia’s only models without hybrid assistance. The LC has already been retired locally this year, further shrinking the brand’s petrol-powered lineup.
Lexus says the decision to remove the RX350 and LS500 comes down to changing customer preferences.
