Mercedes-AMG electric hypercar inspired by Vision One-Eleven teased

Mercedes-AMG has released a couple of teaser images of what is likely to be its new electric hypercar. It says, “First sneak before it’s showtime,” which means the official unveiling is just around the corner.

AMG has been reportedly working on a new electric hypercar codenamed C592. It will be based on the AMG Electric Architecture (AMG.EA).

Looking at the teaser images, it seems the hypercar will be heavily inspired by the Vision One-Eleven concept, which in turn draws inspiration from the C111.

The first image is clearly of the bonnet, painted in a two-tone colour. It shows the hood vent with its longitudinal slats.

The second image appears to be of the roof section. It has a sculpted aero channel with the AMG logo inscribed along the centre line. Interestingly, the car doesn’t have a rear glass.

Now, technical details about the C592 hypercar are still unclear. We don’t know much, except for the fact that it will share its platform with the AMG GT 4-Door EV.

Rumours suggest that the C592 hypercar will use axial-flux motors powered by a high-performance battery. It is estimated to have around 1000-1500 hp, which will be put down to the road via all four wheels.
