A Lancia 037 rally car ploughed into spectators during the Torino Motor Show held in Italy on Sunday. 12 people were injured in the accident.
A video shared on the internet shows a convoy of cars driving through the centre of Turin, Italy, with hoards of spectators lining the rally route. The Lancia driver tries to put on a show for the public by accelerating hard, which doesn’t go well. The 037 veers off the road and crashes into the temporary barrier.
According to media reports, one woman suffered a broken leg and was taken to the hospital. Another five individuals were transported to the hospital, while the remaining were treated at the scene.
The driver of the Lancia 037 has been identified and the incident is currently being investigated.
