Hennessey Performance has dropped the first teaser of its upcoming hypercar. Codenamed ‘Project Overlord’, the new model will be unveiled on August 3, 2026.
Hennessey recently debuted the Venom F5-M at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It’s a 2000+ horsepower hypercar equipped with a 6-speed gated manual transmission. Only 12 units are being built, but if you weren’t lucky enough to get an allocation, no worries. Hennessey has something even more special in store.
Project Overlord is the Texas-based brand’s next manual hypercar. We’ve been told that they even developed a brand new engine to pair with the gearbox. The exact details, however, are still under wraps.
As far as design is concerned, sources have described it as “more beautiful” and “calm” than the Venom F5. The teaser provides a glimpse of the single, round taillight, unlike the U-shaped unit of the F5. It reminds us of the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.
