The new Ferrari 296 Challenge Stradale is coming very soon. According to information received from our sources, the road-legal version of the Ferrari 296 Challenge race car may debut at this year’s Finali Mondiali at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain.
We had earlier reported exclusively that the car would arrive in November, but didn’t have a finalised date. Now, our sources have revealed the expected launch date as Nov 21. Our sources also indicate that pricing will start at €320,000, including VAT.

The biggest talking point is likely to be the powertrain. Unlike the 296 Speciale’s electrified twin-turbo V6, the upcoming Challenge Stradale is expected to ditch hybrid assistance altogether. The reworked 3.0-litre V6 is said to produce around 720 hp, while the car is estimated to weigh approximately 1,300 kg dry.

Recent Ferrari 296 Challenge Stradale prototypes have also hinted at a more aggressive design, with a swan-neck rear wing, large end plates, prominent front splitter, deeper side skirts and a substantial rear diffuser. Dual centre-mounted exhausts and a mesh-style rear fascia further highlight its racing inspiration.
