Denza Z9 GT to bring BYD’s high-tech ADAS to Europe in 2027

BYD is preparing to bring its advanced driver assistance technology to Europe starting with the Denza Z9 GT. The EV will become the first BYD model in Europe to feature the company’s God’s Eye City Navigation Driving Assistant (CNOA), with its arrival planned for 2027.

The announcement was made by BYD officials at the 2026 Paris Auto Show. Marketed under the God’s Eye name, the system is designed to handle complex urban driving situations, including navigating city streets with minimal driver input.

There is an important distinction, though. Despite BYD’s claims of autonomous urban navigation, God’s Eye CNOA is a Level 2 driver assistance system, not a fully autonomous driving solution. Drivers must remain attentive behind the wheel and be ready to take control whenever necessary.

The Denza Z9 GT has already made headlines as the first BYD-built vehicle with flash-charging technology to reach Europe. Now, its role as the launch vehicle for God’s Eye CNOA could make it an important model for the brand’s expansion.

If the rollout goes well, expect the technology to spread to more BYD models in Europe in the coming years.
