Bugatti Tourbillon prototype gets rear-ended by a VW

A Bugatti Tourbillon prototype was involved in an accident while testing in the Sierra Nevada region of Spain. The hypercar was rear-ended by a Volkswagen driver.

A video shared on social media reveals the exact moment the VW crashed into the multi-million-dollar test mule. The Bugatti was following a white Kia on a twisty mountain road when the driver in the front suddenly applied the brakes. This prompted the Tourbillon driver to brake hard. The VW driver had very little time to react and couldn’t stop in time, causing a collision.

The video doesn’t reveal the extent of damage sustained by the Tourbillon. However, we suspect that it will most likely be cosmetic. Still, the conversation between the VW driver and his insurance company must’ve been interesting.
