Aston Martin Valkyrie Le Mans hypercar spied for the first time!

Last year, Aston Martin announced that it would enter the top class of the World Endurance Championship in 2025 with a Valkyrie-based LMH machine. It seems the development of the racecar is well on track, as the Valkyrie LMH was recently spotted testing at Silverstone.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie LMH racer will be homologated for the WEC Hypercar and IMSA GTP classes ahead of the 2025 season. It is expected to be powered by the same Cosworth-built 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine as the road car, except for the hybrid system.

The Valkrie LMH will be operated by the Heart of Racing team, which also runs the new Vantage GT3 Evo in the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship and the FIA World Endurance Championship.
