2024 BMW X6 Models and Trims
The 2024 BMW X6 comes in two trims: xDrive40i and M60i. The X6 xDrive40i has a 375-horsepower inline-six with a 48-volt hybrid system, while the X6 M60i features a 523-horsepower V8. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard for both.
BMW also makes the performance-oriented X6 M, which we review separately.
The xDrive40i starts at $73,900. Standard features include synthetic leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, power-adjustable and heated front sport seats, driver’s seat memory settings, a panoramic moonroof, proximity keyless entry, ambient interior lighting, a universal garage door opener, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, wireless device charging, navigation, a 10-speaker stereo and satellite radio.
Standard driver-assistance features include forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, forward automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, traffic-sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive LED headlights with automatic high beams, rain-sensing windshield wipers and a rearview camera.
The available M Sport package upgrades the vehicle’s appearance with shadowline exterior trim and an M Sport steering wheel. The Premium package adds a head-up display and remote start. There’s also an Executive package that has all of the Premium’s features plus glass interior controls, upgraded headlights, rear side-window sunshades and LED lights for the moonroof.
The Luxury Seating package adds 20-way power-adjustable, multicontour and massaging front seats. For $1,350, the Climate Comfort package adds quad-zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, heated front armrests and a heated steering wheel.
For more active safety features, the Driving Assistance Professional package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, emergency stop assist, evasive-steering assist and traffic-jam assist. Also available is an $800 Parking Assistance package with reverse automatic emergency braking, a dashcam, automatic parking assist and a surround-view camera system.
Some of the features in the above packages can be added as individual options. Other stand-alone amenities include an Alcantara headliner, a 10-speaker Harman Kardon surround-sound stereo, M Sport brakes and Merino leather upholstery.
The X6 M60i retails for $93,600 and comes with an M Sport exhaust, M Sport brakes, an adaptive electronic M suspension and an M Sport steering wheel. Additional features include sportier exterior styling, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a 10-speaker Harman Kardon surround-sound stereo and multicontour and ventilated front seats.
Most optional features carry over from the base model, with minor equipment and pricing differences. The X6 M60i is also available with a Dynamic Handling package that adds active roll stabilization and a lowered, retuned suspension. A full leather-wrapped dashboard and a 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins surround-sound stereo are optional, too.
