2024 BMW X3 Model and Trims

The 2024 BMW X3 comes in three trims: 30i, M40i and M. Each model comes with its own distinct engine. The 30i models have 248-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder, while the M40i model has a 382-horsepower turbocharged six-cylinder.

We review the performance-oriented X3 M separately.

The sDrive30i is priced at $46,900, while the all-wheel-drive xDrive30i starts at $48,900. Both vehicles come with the 248-horsepower turbo-four.

Standard features include synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, a 10.25-inch touch screen, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hot spot, navigation, a 12-speaker audio system, HD Radio, satellite radio, a USB port, Bluetooth, push-button start, a universal garage door opener and tri-zone automatic climate control.

Standard driver-assistance features include a rearview camera, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, forward automatic emergency braking, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition and lane-departure warning.

The Convenience package ($1,700) adds a panoramic moonroof, keyless entry and power-adjustable lumbar support for the driver’s seat.

The Premium package ($3,550) comes with the features included in the Convenience package, as well as a 12.3-inch touch screen, a head-up display, a heated steering wheel and heated front seats. Adding this package also unlocks heated rear seats ($500).

Individual options include ventilated front seats ($500), wireless device charging ($500), a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system ($875) and remote start ($300). Many of the features included in the Premium and Convenience packages can be added individually as well.

Priced at $61,900, the M40i comes with the 382-horsepower turbo inline-six engine and all-wheel drive. Along with the base X3’s features, the M40i adds an adaptive suspension, stronger brakes, a 12.3-inch touch screen and unique interior and exterior styling cues.

In addition to the base X3’s options, you can add several driver-assistance features, including lane-keep assist, lane-change assist, evasive-steering assist, a surround-view camera system, park assist and a head-up display.
