Young Thug’s YSL associate displays odd movements at hearing
Young Thug‘s YSL RICO trial has yet to officially begin, as the initial plan was for January. However, the jury selection process has had a lot of difficulties. As a result, it has now been nine months of still trying to figure that situation out.
Meanwhile, there has been another viral moment in this case. During several hearings, one of Thug’s associates displayed some very odd behavior. This is YSL Polo, real name Cordarius Dorsey, who kept making unusual movements while in court. Therefore, this was reportedly done in order for him to plead insanity.
Furthermore, Thug’s attorney Brian Steele is also said to want Polo removed from the trial, due to this behavior. He also believes that removing him would ensure a fair process for Thug. Moreover, Polo also allegedly threatened prosecutors and jurors. These actions are viewed as being detrimental to a fair trial for Thug.
“Jeffery Williams, by and through undersigned counsel, hereby files this motion to Sever Parties in the above-referenced case,” said Young Thug’s motion. “In support of this Motion, Mr. Williams shows as follows. Mr. Williams is innocent of all charges in the above-referenced indictment. Mr. Dorsey, a co-indictee, has displayed unprofessional and unacceptable conduct in Court, in the presence of this Honorable Court, as announced on the Record on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
This isn’t the first time that Thug’s associates have been acting odd in court. Back in January, his co-defendant Kahlieff Adams attempted to give Thug a Percocet, during a hearing.
