The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 made its global debut earlier this month. Besides the updated GT3, Porsche has also been working on the GT3 RS 992.2. It was recently captured while on a test run at the Nurburgring.
The upcoming Porsche 911 GT3 RS is likely to feature several major as well as minor updates. The most track-focused version of the 911 will receive a slight nip-n-tuck on the outside. Like the new GT3, the RS version is also expected to switch to a fully digital instrument cluster.
Looking at the images shared on social media, it appears that Porsche has made a few changes around the rear bumper, hence the camouflage. The top-mounted rear wing is obviously larger than the one on the GT3. It also gets louvres at the front and guiding surfaces around the fender.
The updated Porsche 911 GT3 RS is also expected to receive a few mechanical tweaks. While exact details are unclear, we can expect a revised suspension setup, improved cooling, and more.
