Maserati is set to reveal a track-focused version of the MC20 at Pebble Beach. The new model is called the GT2 Stradale and is based on the MC20 GT2 race car. It will make its public debut at The Quail on August 16.
The Maserati GT2 Stradale has a more extreme design inspired by the race car. It has a carbon splitter, a carbon bonnet with large ducts, carbon louvres on the front fenders, and carbon vents on the sides.
The interior of the GT2 Stradale looks similar to that of the standard MC20. It has a sporty carbon steering wheel and Alcantara upholstery all around.
Powering the new sports car is the same 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 as the standard model. However, the power has been increased to 640 hp, allowing the car to reach a top speed of 199 mph, while 0-62 mph comes up in just 2.8 seconds.
Maserati is expected to build the GT2 Stradale in limited numbers. The exact details will shared closer to reveal.
