Timbaland announces single with Justin Timberlake & Nelly Furtado

Timbaland brought some major nostalgia to social media on Wednesday, as he announced a new collaboration with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. Timberlake and Furtado were some of the biggest pop stars of the 2000s, as Timbaland also collaborated with both of them, during that era.

Timbaland posted a hype video to Instagram on Wednesday night, which displayed both Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. Furthermore, the producer’s caption read “WE BACK,” and revealed that this record will be out on September 1. However, the exact title of the collaboration hasn’t been fully revealed.

Therefore, this announcement by Timbaland also earned the praise of fellow stars in the industry, on his Instagram feed. These included comments from Swizz Beatz and Busta Rhymes.

Timbaland has had multiple hits with Timberlake and Furtado, over the past three decades. These include the notable “Sexy Back” single with Timberlake in 2006, as well as “Promiscuous” with Furtado, that same year. This also comes as Timberlake appeared on Coco Jones’ “ICU” remix, last month.

Check out Timbaland announcing his upcoming single with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, which is arriving on September 1, below.
