Could ATEEZ be singing the anthem for this year’s League of Legends World Championship?

Earlier this month, ATEEZ paid a visit to Riot Games’ headquarters in Los Angeles, leading to speculation in the eSports sphere that the group might be involved in the highly-anticipated anthem for the upcoming 2023 League of Legends World Championship in Korea.

Rumors have also been swirling about a potential male version of K/DA, the virtual girl group made up of popular League of Legends champions that Riot Games first created in 2018. (Among other artists, members of (G)I-DLE and TWICE have lent their voices to K/DA for different songs over the years.)

On August 28 local time, Riot Games added fuel to the ongoing speculation by posting photos of ATEEZ’s visit to their offices on social media.

Notably, the photos were specifically posted to Riot Games Music’s social media accounts, seemingly increasing the probability that a music collaboration between ATEEZ and the game developer is in the works.

However, when a fan replied to the company’s post by asking, “WHAT DOES [THIS] MEAN…”, Riot Games Music cheekily replied, “they just came to game.”
