As we had reported earlier, the Porsche 911 GT3 facelift (992.2) will be revealed on October 18. Porsche has just put out a link for the Youtube live stream, along with a teaser of the upcoming car.
The new 911 GT3 is expected to get subtle cosmetic changes such as new headlights and tail lights, a new rear bumper and tweaked front fascia. It will also get an upgraded aero package, featuring a redesigned rear spoiler.
The 911 GT3 facelift could also receive minor changes on the interior. The semi-digital gauge cluster is likely to be replaced with a digital screen. Moreover, Porsche is also likely to offer the Weissach package on the GT3 for the first time.
The new 911 GT3 facelift will be powered by a revised 4.0-liter flat-6 engine. Currently, this unit produces 502 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK.
