    TINA FEY & AMY POEHLER

    Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have added even more dates to their Restless Leg tour which currently wraps up in February at NYC’s Beacon Theatre. There are two more shows for that run, on February 16 and February 17. All dates are here.

    PAVEMENT

    Pavement are continuing their reunion into 2024 and have added another date, playing Montevideo, Uruguay on May 17, which is just ahead of their appearance at Brazil’s C6 festival.

    WHEN WE WERE YOUNG

    Las Vegas festival When We Were Young announced their 2024 edition on Saturday, October 19 at Las Vegas Festival Grounds, featuring over 50 bands all performing albums in full. After tickets quickly sold out, they added a second day with the same bands and album plays, happening on Sunday, October 20.

    DRAKE / J. COLE

    Drake has added 10 more dates to his 2024 tour with J. Cole, including shows in New York, Florida, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

    SF SKETCHFEST

    Multi-venue CA comedy festival SF Sketchfest will return on January 18-February 4, and they’ve announced another insanely stacked lineup for its 2024 edition.

    MILWAUKEE METAL FEST

    Milwaukee Metalfest returned for its first edition in years in 2023, after Jamey Jasta acquired the rights to the festival, and it’ll be back in 2024, too, on May 16-19 at The Rave / Eagles Club. The first wave lineup has been announced, which features Mr. Bungle, Blind Guardian, Slaughter to Prevail, In Flames, Hatebreed, Deicide, Katatonia, Kamelot, Marduk, Possessed, Metal Church, and more.

    HASSAN MINHAJ

    Hasan Minhaj is wrapping up the year with a run of East Coast and Midwest shows now, including four sets at Beacon Theatre on December 15 and 17 (early and late shows each night), and he’s now announced a new leg of 2024 North American dates for his ongoing “Off With His Head” tour.

    NEVA DINOVA

    Omaha, Nebraska indie rock vets Neva Dinova recently released a new single that’s an early taste of their fourth album, due out next year via Saddle Creek. Before that they’ll be Knitting Factory at Baker Falls on 12/8 with Horror Movie Marathon and Juicer.

    SUFJAN STEVENS ‘ILLINOISE’ THEATRE/DANCE PRODUCTION

    A theatre/dance production based on Sufjan Stevens‘s beloved album Illinois premiered at Bard’s Fisher Center in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY in June of 2023. It will make its NYC premiere in March of 2024, when it begins a run at Park Avenue Armory from March 2-23.

    SPECIAL INTEREST

    New Orleans post-punks Special Interest are in London this week, but will stop in Brooklyn on the way home for an intimate show this weekend.

    RED BARAAT

    Sunny Jain will be taking his band Red Baraat on tour early in 2024, kicking things off with a Leap Day show in Philly on 2/29 and bringing things to a close in Salt Lake City on March 27. The NYC show is at Brooklyn Bowl on March 9.

    MALI VELASQUEZ

    Nashville-based singer-songwriter Mali Velasquez released her very good debut LP, I’m Greenin October, and she’s announced a headlining tour supporting it following dates with Parquet Courts’ A. Savage.
