Dr. Contessa Metcalfe has a bone to pick with Nicki Minaj.
The Married to Medicine star stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse for Sunday night’s (Jan. 11) episode of Watch What Happens Live, which concluded with her, Real Housewives of Potomac star Angel Massie, and host Andy Cohen revealing what was agitating them most at that moment.
“You know who’s agitating my spirit? Nicki Minaj!” Metcalfe said, referring to Minaj’s recent support of President Donald Trump and the Republican Party. “I feel like she broke our hearts. We were rooting for her and she just, like, left us in the dust. Very disappointed.”
When Cohen pointed out that Minaj is a “big” fan of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Metcalfe questioned, “Is she anymore, though? I mean, it’s not really Christian, so I don’t know, right?”
“We met her spread eagle, so it’s quite interesting to see that Nicki Minaj is so judgmental these days,” she said, referencing Minaj’s Pink Friday album cover. “It’s just heartbreaking.”
The rapper’s politics became a public ordeal when she made a guest appearance at a Turning Point USA event last month. At the summit—which was the first since the organization’s founder, Charlie Kirk, had been shot and killed in September—Minaj came onto the stage with his wife, Erika Kirk.
“I have the utmost respect and admiration for our president,” Minaj said during their conversation, per USA Today. “I don’t even know if he knows this, but he has given so many people hope that there’s a chance to beat the bad guys and to win and to do it with your head held high and your integrity intact.”
Minaj also called Trump “our handsome, dashing president” and referred to Vice President J.D. Vance as an “amazing” role model.
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
