My music obsession with Khazali began when he released “Magic,” his first single of the year, in July. His voice is so smooth and silky, and I love how he blends synth-pop with RnB and funk. It’s a refreshing take on the genre where he doesn’t rely on a retro style.
It is my pleasure to share, “Did It For Love” as the second song from the upcoming sophomore EP “Born For This” (due out on September 13th). This track is a perfect blend of soulful funky groove and heated-up aesthetic. While it shares similar facets to the previous single, it definitely continues a hot streak for the rising star.
Sharing “Did It For Love” online, Khazali urged fans to “listen to your heart’s content, this is a little slice of mine. Written for anyone who’s ready to let go and choose themselves“.
He has unquestionably honed his songwriting craft. The music is dreamy, heartfelt, and intimate, showing a depth and maturity beyond what I had expected. It’s clear that he has poured his heart and soul into every note and lyric, and it’s truly inspiring to see such dedication and passion in an artist. The way he weaves his words and melodies together is simply magical, and I can’t get enough of his music. I feel like I’m transported to another world every time I listen to him, and it’s a truly beautiful experience.
This new song is absolutely addictive! The lyrics are incredibly raw and genuine, it really resonates with me. Khazali’s voice is smooth and soulful, it’s impossible not to fall under his spell. The song is simply exquisite and has a seductive quality that makes it suitable for any occasion. You must add it to your playlist, be it for a cosy night in or a lively party with friends. Take my word for it, you won’t be disappointed!
Here is some good news for those in the UK, desperate to catch Khazali live. Following his performance at Reading and Leeds festival today, he will headline the Camden Assembly London on 20th October. (Ticket information HERE).
