James Fauntleroy and Terrace Martin have surprised fans by announcing that they are releasing a joint album.

Both acclaimed musicians took to social media to announce they are releasing an album called Nova. They did not reveal a release date. James and Terrace have worked together numerous times together and were even set to release an album together alongside Robert Glasper back in 2016.

Terrace Martin, who has worked on albums from Kendrick Lamar, YG, The Game, and more, is also close associated with 1500 or Nothin, the ensemble composed of record producers, songwriters and musicians where James Fauntleroy plays a major part.

Last year, a frustrated Terrace Martin said on social media that he was done working with “rap friends.”
