Gunplay arrested after allegedly pointing rifle at wife
Gunplay is known as one of Miami’s most notable artists, over the past decade. This is due to him signing to Rick Ross‘ Maybach Music record label, in the 2010s. However, he didn’t end up becoming the star that some anticipated, regarding nationwide recognition.
Meanhile, Gunplay has ran into some very concerning legal issues. According to Miami reporter Andy SlaterGunplay has been arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, and child abuse. Furthermore, he is accused of pointing a rifle at his wife, while she was holding their 6-month-old child. This news was initially confirmed by a law enforcement officer in Miami, on Sunday afternoon.
This incident reportedly occurred as a result of Gunplay’s wife telling him to be more quiet, while playing his Xbox. However, he has since denied these accusations.
Gunplay’s last project came back in April 2022, which was his “All Bulls*** Aside” album. This contained 13 songs, including collaborations with Rick Ross, Boosie, Jim Jones, Bobby Fishscale, and more. This month, Gunplay also released his “Risk Takers” single, which also featured Trap Gawd Lito and Ricco Barino.
