Gunna performs in NYC in first concert since release from jail
On Saturday night, Gunna had New York City electric, as he performed for the first time since being released from jail, last December. At the time, he reached a plea deal in his YSL RICO case.
As a result, Gunna’s NYC performance took place inside the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn. The Atlanta rapper performed many of his classic hits, including his latest buzzing “Fukumean” single, which was the most streamed song of the summer. Currently, it stands at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It recently reached a peak of number four.
Gunna’s NYC performance also comes after releasing his “A Gift & A Curse” album, in June. That project contained the Fukumean record, as well as 16 total songs. A Gift & A Curse was led by Gunna’s “Bread & Butter” single, as this album went on to debut at number three on the Billboard 200 chart.
In addition to Gunna’s NYC performance, he also has one coming up in Los Angeles. This will take place on September 28, inside the YouTube Theater. That is located in the city of Inglewood.
