Aston Martin Formula 1 Team driver Fernando Alonso was recently spotted driving one of his special cars in Monaco. The 2-time F1 champion was seen behind the wheel of his brand-new Aston Martin Valiant.
The Aston Martin Valiant is a lightweight, track-focused version of the Valour. Only 38 cars are being built. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay also owns one.
Alonso has opted for a more discreet spec, unlike Ramsay, whose Valiant is finished in white with blue and red stripes along the lower sections. Alonso’s Valiant appears to have a grey exterior with bright green accents.
The Valiant is powered by a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine, which has been tuned to 735 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque. The engine is hooked up to a 6-speed manual transmission.
