Maserati is all set to debut a street-legal version of the MC20 GT2 race car. The new model is expected to be called the MC20 GT2 Stradale and will be presented at ‘The Quail’ during the Monterey Car Week.
Maserati teased the new car a few days back. However, here are some more revealing images of the MC20 GT2 Stradale that we were able to get our hands on.
The first image shows a more aggressive-looking front end with a carbon splitter and bonnet with large ducts. There are carbon louvres on the front fenders, and the vents on the sides also receive some carbon treatment.
The interior of the MC20 GT2 Stradale is also likely to be inspired by the race car, albeit with a few more creature comforts.
The Stradale version is likely to be powered by the same 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 as the standard MC20. It produces 621 hp @ 7500 rpm and 538 lb-ft of torque all the way from 3000 rpm. It might get a stiffer, more track-focused suspension setup and upgraded brakes.
