The 2024 Copa América quarterfinals continued Saturday at State Farm Stadium with a match between Group D winner Colombia and upstart Panama. Colombia came into the game on a 26-match unbeaten streak while Panama made it on the back of a surprise 2-1 victory over the U.S. in group play.

Colombia extended that streak to 27 matches in emphatic fashion with one of the more dominant displays of the tournament, winning 5-0 to clinch a spot in the semifinals.

Jhon Córdoba’s goal in the eighth minute started a first-half barrage. Minutes later, James Rodríguez’s penalty kick made it 2-0 and Luis Díaz’s chip shot over Panama keeper Orlando Mosquera made it 3-0 before halftime.
