Bugatti has just confirmed a new one-off hypercar as part of its Solitaire programme. As we’ve reported earlier, it has been conceived as a tribute to the legendary Bugatti Veyron. It will be unveiled on January 22.
The teaser provides a glimpse of the engine bay, which looks quite similar to that of the Veyron. You can clearly see the signature roof scoops and the exposed 8.0-liter W16 engine.
According to our sources, the one-off model is likely to be a homage to the original Bugatti Veyron 16.4 chassis no. 001. It might have a similar two-tone colour scheme of red and black, while the interior could be trimmed in cream leather.
Powering the Veyron tribute could be the 8.0-liter W16 in its latest iteration. Dubbed ‘Thor’, this unit was used in the Chiron Super Sport 300+, and makes 1600 hp.
