Bugatti Chiron L’Ultime: Sales guy shares the story behind chassis 500

The Bugatti Chiron L’Ultime was created as a special edition to mark the end of production of the Chiron hypercar. Chassis no. 500 was sold to a US client by Evan Cygler, Director of Special Projects at Miller Motorcars. He worked closely with Bugatti’s design department and the customer to create a unique spec worthy of “The Ultimate” tag.

Based on the Chiron Super Sport, L’Ultime is finished in a dual-tone shade of Atlantic Blue and French Racing Blue with matching wheels. It has a blue Bugatti badge and an intricate hand-painted livery featuring key events from the Chiron’s lifecycle. The interior is finished in Deep Blue leather and Blue Carbon Matt trim with a touch of French Racing Blue. The number “500” can be found all over the exterior as well as inside the cabin.

The Chiron Super Sport is powered by an 8.0-liter W16 that churns out 1600 hp, while peak torque of 1180 lb-ft is available all the way up to 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-124 mph in 5.8 seconds.
