Ford has unveiled the new 2027 Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible. It’s the new flagship Mustang with a supercharged V8 under the hood.
The Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible comes with a fabric top and retains all the sporty exterior elements of the coupe, including the large front intakes, the vented hood and the rear spoiler.
Powering the open-top Mustang Dark Horse is a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 that delivers 795 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels.
To improve the structural rigidity of the convertible, Ford has used a lightweight magnesium tower brace. It also gets advanced MagneRide suspension.
Ford has yet to announce the pricing for the new Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible. However, it is expected to be more expensive than the coupe, which starts at $108,485.
