The new Denza Z9S, a fully electric luxury sedan, has just been revealed via regulatory filings. Built on a substantial 3025 mm wheelbase, the Z9S will be offered in two distinct configurations.
The entry-level version focuses on refined performance, using a permanent-magnet synchronous motor producing 320 kW (430 hp) at peak. It rides on 19-inch wheels and carries a 2,250 kg kerb weight.

The premium variant has an upgraded motor sourced from BYD. The output jumps to 370 kW, or roughly 496 hp. That’s serious pace for a five-seat luxury sedan. It’s heavier too, at 2,545 kg, and sits on larger 20-inch wheels, supported by lithium-iron phosphate battery tech.
Both versions are electronically capped at 250 km/h (155 mph). In terms of features, there is a panoramic glass roof, optional active rear spoiler, flush door handles, and much more.
In other news, 1500+ hp Denza Z was revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026. Denza is also working on a ‘Special Edition’ of the EV, targeting over 1,973 hp and a sub-1.7 second sprint time.
