The next-gen Audi RS5 will be unveiled soon. It will be available in both sedan and Avant body styles. The latest teaser image shows a glimpse of the latter.
The Audi RS5 Avant will feature new segmented LED taillights connected by an LED light bar. Being an ‘RS’ model, the station wagon/estate will have a sporty body kit with flared fenders, large intakes and quad exhausts.
Under the bonnet will be a plug-in hybrid powertrain, featuring a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 generating a combined output of 639 hp. It will be capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in around 3.4 seconds and is expected to have an electric range of 50 miles.
According to our sources, the order books for the new-gen Audi RS5 will open around mid-March, with first customer deliveries expected in June.
