Aston Martin has confirmed the launch date of its new V12 grand tourer – the Vanquish. The carmaker is all set to present it to the world on September 2, 2024.
The Aston Martin Vanquish will be the brand’s new flagship GT and the successor to the DBS. The design of the new Vanquish will be a combination of the more conventional, yet muscular front end, married with styling elements from the Aston Martin Valour. It is likely to get a bigger grille with a sculpted hood, while the rear will feature a flat-ish fascia with an integrated duck tail spoiler.
The new Vanquish will be powered by a brand-new V12 engine. The twin-turbo unit features a beefier cylinder block and conrods, redesigned cylinder heads with reprofiled camshafts and new intake and exhaust ports; among other changes. The result is 824 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. It is said that its top speed will be limited to 214 mph.
