Having made its dynamic debut at Silverstone earlier this year, the Aston Martin Valkyrie LMH has now been spotted testing at the Daytona International Speedway.
Aston Martin is preparing to enter IMSA and the World Endurance Championship (WEC) next year, with the Valkyrie LMH being its flagbearer. It will compete in the Hypercar class alongside the Ferrari 499P, Porsche 963, Toyota GR010 Hybrid, Cadillac V-Series.R, BMW M Hybrid V8 and Lamborghini SC63.
The Valkyrie AMR-LMH is based on a carbon fibre chassis and is powered by a Cosworth-built 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, making it the only V12-powered machine on the grid.
The visceral sound of the V12 has been nicely captured in this video. Just imagine the views and sound of the Valkyrie LMH barrelling down the Mulsanne straight at Le Mans at full throttle.
